Software Factory Methodology
A simplistic approach to developing a solution could be that you tell us what you want, and then we go away for some time and come back with the software. However, we believe that a truly professional approach should involve more than that. This is what you can expect from working with us:
We will sit down with you to discuss your need in detail. At this stage you may want us to talk to key players related to that need.
We will design a solution and present it to you to receive your feedback and approval. This phase may include some simple prototypes to show you what the software might look like.
Upon receiving your go-ahead, we would develop the software coming back to you for feedback at key times in the process.
At some stage, you will be able to try an early version of the software and give us more feedback. This loop continues until the software is finished.
It is your choice whether we give the software to your staff to install or we install it for you.
There will be an agreed time for you and the users to test and approve the software.
Getting the users ready
We know that your staff may comprise of people with different skill levels. We can help you to get them ready to use the software to minimise rejection and maximise effective utilisation. To achieve this we can offer you our Early Software Familiarisation and User Training Plan*; where we will prepare your users to embrace the new software, as well as train them to properly use it according to their role.
